What are "SCAM FLAGS?"

1. Products that promise to be "THE NEXT BEST THING." We all know discoveries in the science and health care industry vary as often as the weather. Today abc ingredient, product, vitamin, or what have you is the newest greatest thing; Tomorrow it’s posing risks and is no longer good for you. In fact, sometimes it turns out to be harmful to you. Well, as far as I’m concerned, the only thing any of these new discoveries that are blasted into the media can offer is a theory. Nobody has lived long enough to see if any of these new discoveries in health and medicine truly are pieces to the puzzle of the fountain of youth! And, unless abc truly is unique, let’s face it - it can always be modified by another person or company and made better. Shortly after it is replaced with xyz - the newest and greatest modification. Come on, we see it with everything - from toothpaste to electronics. There’s always the next best thing coming out.
2. Products that claim to have a "MIRACLE INGREDIENT." I’m so tired of hearing people tell me I need abc or xyz because it will perform all these health-related miracles! I took classes on nutrition as well as studied it on my own, and anyone who knows a little bit about nutrients and how the body works knows that there is no one vitamin, mineral, or ingredient that keeps the human body running. Our ability to breathe life depends on so many different “things” working together that keep our bodies functioning as one. And in the case of vitamins and minerals, many vitamins and minerals complement each other and need a proper balance in order for our bodies to maximize their miraculous properties. Any food can be miraculous to a body that needs the vitamins and minerals said food can provide.
3. Products that claim that "WE HAVE THE ONLY PRODUCT LIKE THIS." Rarely do you find a 100% unique product that doesn’t have a generic or similar counterpart to it. The amounts of nutritional value, specific ingredients, etc. may vary, but for the most part you can usually find something similar to the “newest best thing” whether it’s cheaper or more expensive.

1. Who doesn't Love All-In-One Products? I love products that combine lots of ingredients together to make one simple final product. The only problem with all-in-one products is, unless the company that’s making said all-in-one product is following a specific recipe or measuring guidelines, you never truly know what you are getting and in what amount. This is called, in the world of supplements, a proprietary blend.
2. Most love the idea of Liquid Vitamin Supplements! I’m not a super health nut. I mean, I try my hardest to eat healthy, but let’s face it - we all splurge or screw up our eating plans every once in a while. Because I’m human and make mistakes, I think it’s great to have what I like to call a fall-back plan: a daily vitamin and mineral supplement. I like knowing that if I make poor eating choices throughout the day or week, my body has at the very least gotten the nutrition it needed from a multi-vitamin and mineral supplement. Plus, I’ve always hated swallowing pills and really like the idea of liquid vitamin supplements. It makes sense to me that liquid vitamins are easier for your body to absorb. It’s great that your body can absorb them in as little as three minutes versus the hours that pills take to digest. The downside is I’ve tried many liquid vitamins and a lot of them don’t taste too good - at all.
3. We all love ANTIOXIDANTS! Information about antioxidants has become a widespread phenomenon. It's all over the media - it's even in some of our bottled water. If you’re not already familiar with antioxidants - Antioxidants fight the "Free Radicals" in our bodies. For those that don't know, Free Radicals have damaging effects on your body. They keep your body from producing healthy cells.So antioxidants are supposed to be great because they get rid of those damaged cells and help keep the healthy ones going.

So, what’s In the GBG 10-IN-ONE? 

Even after considering my likes and dislikes, GBG 10-IN-ONE still looked interesting. It is a liquid, vitamin and mineral formula, contained antioxidants, and it contained a huge variety of ingredients. All of this made it an interesting all-in-one nutritional product. So needless to say I was very impressed with the GBG 10-IN-ONE. Here's why you should be too...

Let's take a look at what is in the GBG 10-IN-ONE:

Amalaki: This fruit is a fairly new one to me, I have to admit. From the research I’ve done on it, I understand it has been used for centuries in ayurvedic medicine (western medicine). It is supposed to aid in healing the body at the cellular level and is even believed to be a more powerful super food than acai berry.

Acai Berry: I’m sure you’ve seen ads everywhere for this little berry. I’ve seen ads for it just about everywhere. Apparently, celebs are claiming it to be one of there best kept weight loss secrets. It made it’s debut on the Oprah show a year or two back and since then has become a highly sought after berry. 

Mangosteen: Just like the other fruits, I’ve never personally seen or held a mangosteen. But from the pictures I’ve seen of this fruit, I’m fascinated by it. It’s really neat looking. And I’ve heard it’s good for you too. 

Goji Berry: Another potent antioxidant. I’m not too familiar with it though. It amazes me how much antioxidant power some of these fruits have! If I was to walk past a Goji berry on a stroll I would think nothing much of it - it looks a lot like any regular berry that you would expect only birds and bears would want to snack on.

GBG says that the 10-IN-ONE formula is chock full of ingredients. Saying that it has just about everything your body needs in one bottle. That drew my attention first. This definitely looks like a scam. My first question was "Can this even be safe?"

I did an in depth personal line by line review of the 10-in-1 ingredients listed on the GBG supplement facts sheet that appears in the 2008 Physician’s Desk Reference. You can read it if it interests you, but to sum it up, it appears that NONE of the vitamins in 10-in-1 exceed the Upper Intake Levels (The max amount of vitamins you should consume).

As far as safe goes, I don’t know. As I mentioned is I’m not a Dr. or Nutritionist and if you have any real concerns about taking the product, I highly suggest you go over it with a professional. It’s an MLM/Network Marketing product and/or business.

There have been many MLM companies that go out of business as fast as they started! The big questions are: Is GBG going to be here for the long haul? (If you are going to partner with GBG and tell people about it, you want people to be able to trust you!) Can you believe in the company? Can you  really earn income from the GBG Business Opportunity?

So, I then went on to review GBG as a Business Opportunity and it’s potential as just another scam. I interviewed people and checked the facts and success stories of many who are already creating huge successful GBG businesses.

The only negative findings and opinions that I have about GBG are as follows:

1. It’s too INexpensive to get started - You are in business when you purchase a $19.95 product! The low price of the product has it’s perks in this tough economy, it also has a downside to it. Because you are not chucking out the average investment cost of a few hundred thousand or more dollars it usually takes to start a business! Some people may not take the business seriously. However, this is actually a good thing because the risk is low! People will join because they want to get healthy first, and then build a business because they love the product. Then they invest any funds they have into other key areas such as marketing and training.
2. GBG had some shipping issues. On a few occasions GBG has had issues with shipping. At one time in the past, GBG customers waited 4-6 weeks to receive their product. My investigation produced two conclusions: Apparently, the manufacturer of the 10-IN-ONE product could not keep up with the demand. In the summer of 2008, GBG was growing rapidly and the company was making key changes to their product. (like adding Amalaki which really sets the 10-IN-ONE apart from the competition). SO, GBG set out to improve the product and change the manufacturer at the same time. GBG was just trying to deliver the best service it could to it’s clients. These were growing pains of the new direction that GBG was taking.
